If an appointment is missed an initial warning letter will be sent. When a second appointment is missed a further warning letter will be sent. If 3 appointments are missed in a 12 month period then the patient will be contacted in writing. The patient will be removed from the practice list. There is a 14 day grace period to register with another practice.
